“ I was visiting New York for a few days and quickly ran out of clean clothes. I found this place a block from where I was staying and decided to take the risk. I was greeted at 8am by a friendly woman and she told me my laundry would be ready for pickup at noon. When I went back, my laundry was perfectly washed, folded and arranged inside a plastic bag. My clothes smelled AMAZING and everything turned out great. In total it was about 15 articles of clothing weight I'm guessing about 8 pounds? I was charged $14 dollars which to me was well worth it considering the convenience of it all and how it was done with such care. I would recommend this for anyone local or visiting from out of town. ”

There have been times I have forgotten cash in pockets and they take it out/put it in a plastic baggy for me. I've done both wash/fold service and the dry cleaner option for certain pieces. ”
“ Love this laundromat! The ladies working there are so kind and helpful. I come in and use the washers and dryers myself and the experience couldn't be better. The machines take quarters and there is a machine to exchange cash for quarters, but if you have a crumpled bill that the machine isn't reading they immediately notice and will exchange the quarters for you behind the counter. So attentive! They are also around the laundromat working on other peoples wash and fold orders, so I feel comfortable leaving and running errands while my loads are in the machines. If it's busy and you are not back right away, the ladies will take your items and set them aside in a basket for when you return (don't have to worry about random people emptying your clothes to use the machine). ”
“ Ah, Chinese laundry. One of the biggest reasons I miss living in NYC. Simply drop off your dirty clothes, and pick them up a few hours later fluffed, folded, and smelling subtly of tropical flowers. My fiancé and I have been traveling on the east coast for a couple of weeks now, and our worn clothes started to take over our suitcases. We took the laundry to Tian Tian at 1pm on a Monday, and picked it up at 4pm. The total? $11. The woman working was sweet, and folded everything so nicely. The clothes also smelled amazing. Hot tip: just down the street is Portuguese bakery Joey Bats, who makes the best Pastéis de Nata (Portuguese egg tarts) in the world. Pick up at least 6 of them after you pick up your laundry. ”

Not only does my laundry smell good, but it's neatly folded and placed inside of my original laundry bag (a backpack of sorts) - which makes the walk home much easier. I bring in about 20 lbs of laundry at a time, and it is always ready within 24 hours. I'm becoming a regular, which is nice, and I'm sure it's because I thank everyone for their service and give a 10% tip each time. It's hard work - that I don't have to do - after all! ”
